A small info about these beautiful unique bags:
The bags are made with fine plastic cable, recycled. They are interwoven by hand in wooden racks, by inmates from different prisons in the State of Oaxaca. They have lining with internal bags and side clasps to adjust their size. In front and behind, they carry two little balls of black clay in the manner of a brooch, made by artisans from San Bartolo Coyotepec, a town located 45 minutes from the City of Oaxaca. Oaxacan hearts or miracles hearts, as they are known, are made using tinplate technique and hand painted by artisans from San Isidro Nuns, a community located 30 minutes from the city of Oaxaca. The pendants or speckles are also made by hand, with candle thread.
Please remember all these pieces are handmade and they may have some imperfections, but that's what makes handmade pieces so unique.
